Mwitu's story

Mwitu is fifty-six years old. She is married and her children are grown. She has been in the food industry operating a food kiosk for the past five years, earning an average income of 56,000 KES per month.

This is her third borrowing with Vision Fund Kenya. She intends to use the loan to buy additional stock of tomatoes, flour, cooking oil and other food items for her kiosk. This will increase on her sales thus bringing in more income.

The anticipated profits will be used to repay the loan and take good care of her family. Her hopes and dreams for the future is to have a stable business.
