A loan helped to buy various local products.

Aissatou's story

Aissatou, pictured on the photo, has just repaid her second loan. She is a 26-year-old divorcee and the mother of 2 children, including one girl. She has been selling local products for years. She goes to the region's very busy weekly market to stock up on these products and retails them afterwards.

This loan will enable her to buy buckets of peanut butter and cans of palm oil that she will retail in the capital city. Before returning, she buys pairs of shoes that she retails in her village. With her earnings, she will expand her business in order to be able to meet the demand.
