A loan helped to buy welding equipment, grease, and various sets of wrenches.

Julio Cesar's story

At 26 years of age, Julio has a small vehicle repair shop. He remembers that he decided to take a course in mechanics and then found his business because in the region where he lives there was no mechanic, and this has enabled him to grow his business satisfactorily. He relies on the support of his father and siblings in his venture.

This micro-entrepreneur has turned to Kiva loans through MiCredito for the purchase of welding equipment, grease, and various sets of wrenches. With this investment he'll be able to carry out more repairs and serve more customers. In the short-term future he wants to improve conditions at his shop.

Translated from Spanish by Kiva volunteer Pamela Allyn.
