A loan helped a member to purchase used clothing for resale.

Los Lapachos Group's story

"Los Lapachos" is the name of this communal bank. All of the members are mothers who work hard to get ahead and offer their loved ones everything that they, themselves, weren't able to have. They want to be sure their loved ones have everything they need.

One of the communal bank members is señora Laura Elena. In order to help her family, Laura Elena sells all types of used clothing. She says that through her sales, she generates the income she needs to help her family and make sure they have everything they need. Laura Elena describes herself as a determined person who, in spite of daily difficulties, looks for ways to keep improving so she can give her loved ones everything she, herself, wasn't able to have and to make sure they have everything they need.

Laura Elena is requesting this loan so she can buy used clothing for resale. This will allow her to fill her customers' orders which, in turn, will allow her to keep helping with the household expenses.
