A loan helped to buy some heifers as well as salt, balanced feed, molasses, and other nourishment.

Sandra Marcela's story

Sandra, 34, is a single rural woman who lives with her parents in the community of Loma Chiquita, taking care of them because they're of advanced age now and no long work doing the difficult farm labor they have always done.

Sandra has worked with Banco VisionFund Ecuador for more than 15 years. Since then she has managed to motivate the ranching work she has done since she was 19.

To be able to work and earn a living for her household, she's looking for a new loan to buy some heifers as well as salt, balanced feed, molasses, and other nourishment to care for her cattle and continue producing milk that earns her an important income for her family.
