Laurence's story

Laurence is a businesswoman in the Karongi District. She runs her business near one of the refugee camps in Rwanda. She is a single mother of one child. Laurence started this business in 2003 with a small amount of capital from her parents. She kept it running and has pushed her business slowly to support her family. Mainly it helps her child to get school fees.

After attending INKOMOKO training, Laurence learned a lot of financial and communication skills to support the growth of her business.

Laurence would like to request a loan to increase her working capital and purchase more bags of the groundnuts, cooking oil and rice for her store, This loan will boost her sales and attract more customers. The loan will help her increase the quantity of food stock she sells as a means of making more profit.
