A loan helped to buy 60 sacks of sorghum and to save money for taking care of her children.

Poko Rosine's story

Poko Rosine is the mother of four children of whom two are attending school. She is a businesswoman and works in speculation. She purchases grains to stock up for reselling at the right time at a market in the capital and at nearby markets. She has been in this business for over six years.

She paid back her second Kiva loan without a problem. She is asking for a new loan to purchase 60 sacks of sorghum to stock up and resell to her customers.

She will reinvest part of her profits into her business and will save up money for taking care of her children. She urges everybody to guard against the COVID-19 virus.
