Magnifique's story

Magnifique is a host community client living in the Karongi district near the Kiziba refugee camp. She is married, and has three children.

Magnifique owns a pharmacy, She started her pharmacy after the establishment of the Kiziba refugee camp so that they can have access to medicine. She worked so hard to make sure the pharmacy is well known in the both camp and host community. Magnifique managed to create four permanent and three temporary jobs for both refugees and the host community, which has had a positive impact on the community.

Magnifique's pharmacy was helpful during the pandemic period because they were selling medicine, hand sanitizers, and masks to the community which contributed a big role in to fight against Covid.

Magnifique’s business has grown, and she often faces the challenges of lacking enough capital to purchase enough medicines. For this reason, Magnifique wants to secure a loan to purchase the inventory of medicine for her pharmacy. This loan will help her provide patients with all the needed medicine.
