01_Thieo Group's story

The "banc villageois" was created in December 2010, it is made up of women who live in the same village, they are united and have repaid several loans in time. Their main business is trade.

Safiétou is the representative, she is 36 years old. She is on the left in the photo with her hand raised. She is married and has five children, including four boys, all of whom are in school. Mrs. Safiétou sells fabrics and ice cream, she buys them in town and sells them in her village at home. She has been in business for more than 5 years.

With this loan, she plans to buy fabrics (wax, embroidered, veil ...) that she will resell on credit. Her business works because she has a good clientele.

Her profits will allow her to help her husband with the expenses of the family, to pay the small expenses of her children and to save money.
