A loan helped to introduce new clothes and increase the stock of grains.

Kasimu's story

Kasimu is a Rwandan businessman living in the host community of the Mahama refugee camp. He runs two businesses, a clothing business and selling grains. His targeted clients are refugees and fellow Rwandans. He has steadily grown his business, allowing him to provide all the needed support to his family.

A previous loan helped Kasimu increase his working capital and introduce new kinds of clothes. He was able to start his grain-selling business after working with Kiva. Kasimu is grateful that he was able to attract more customers which has increased his level of sales. He wants to continue growing so he is requesting another loan to introduce new clothes and increase the stock of grains so that he can satisfy increasing demand. Kasimu will provide opportunities to others.
