A loan helped me keep my passion alive by expanding and hiring new employees and increasing marketing efforts.

Jeffrey's story

The road to owning my own business has been full of many successes and setbacks. I decided to leave a 13-year career in banking to pursue a college degree finally. Fast forward many years of school, I have my degree in Marketing and my MBA. While studying, I was torn between going back into banking or following my heart and being a business owner.

I launched a marketing firm, but that did not seem right. Then I found a personal assistant business that did not seem right either. Finally, I told myself, why don’t you clean cars and do it on mobile? Growing up, my fondest memories of spending time with my dad and my Grand Dad were helping them work on cars. While I wasn’t old enough to drive them, my dad would let me clean the car anytime I wanted to. You could say it was a passion. That is what I was missing in my previous business ventures that passion. I opened the business in January of 2020 and launched to the public on March 21, 2020. Not knowing that COVID-19 would have different plans. It has been hard trying to figure out what will work and what will not work in the post-pandemic economy with record inflation and everything is affected by this. I thought 2022 would be the year of actual expansion, but it has turned out that sales are down, and people are not spending as much money. I do not want to do anything else; this is my passion, so I am trying to get a stronger foundation to keep my dream alive.
