08-Fassane Group's story

This group, created in November 2009, shelters these 36 women from the same village. They are dynamic, supportive and share good relationships. They are in the retail trade to achieve a certain autonomy. Madame Mariama, aged 44, with her hand raised in the photo, is the leader of the group. She is a widow and mother of 11 children. She has 07 other dependents. With her new loan, she plans to buy sorrel leaves and okra to resell. The profits will be used to support the food of the children, their schooling and their health.
