A loan helped a member to purchase household products in big cities which she will resell in her neighborhood.

Rocky's Group's story

The group was established in 2008 when the village organization [banc villageois] was set up. This group is comprised of hard-working women who run a small business and share ties of solidarity. They have good experience in this field. Mrs. Rocky, at the right of the photo with her hand raised, is the star of the group. She is 59 years old, married and mother of 5 children, of whom 3 are girls. She has good experience in this field and reimburses her loan without any difficulty. She plans to use this new loan to purchase household products in large cities and resell them in her neighborhood. Her profits will allow her to support her family by contributing to daily expenses.

In this group: Rocky, Khoredia, Fatou, Ndeye Mareme, Marie , Mariama, Rokhy, Mame Diarra, Amy, Mariama, Khady, Amy, Adama, Oumy, Sokhna, Souna, Aminata, Salla, Yama, Sala, Siga, Binetou, Coumba , Aissatou, Fatou
