A loan helped a woman-owned, all-natural skin care business move into a commercial kitchen and expand.

Talisa's story

I grew up with very sensitive skin, so there were no skincare products I could use that felt good and didn't make me break out. I began as a single black mother with little business experience, and just a dream to bring a better life for me and my son. Since then, I have been able to get Freedom Creators Co products into 15 different states and outside of the US borders through the wholesale program.

I started Freedom Creators Co so that people would finally be able to trust what is going into their bodies. So many skin care products include chemicals that are harmful to the body and the environment. I wanted to create a skincare line whose ingredients are all recognizable to the consumer. All of my products are cruelty-free and made in sustainable and reusable packaging in order to reduce my carbon footprint.

I hope that one day, Freedom Creators Co will be a recognizable and easily accessible brand, bringing more people the all-natural products that they have been craving.
