Bianca's story

My passion and love for the culinary arts started when making family meals with my Great Grandmother and Father at the age of 2. My Great Grandmother was a chef, and my dad was always in the kitchen creating new recipes so as a family we were always joined by a meal.

As a child, my family & I relocated to Hawaii to tend to family affairs & that is when I fell in love with local ingredients and the flavors of Hawaii. We later moved back to the mainland, and I continued to cook.

To further my passion for the culinary arts I attended The Art Institute California-Los Angeles and earned a culinary arts and management degree & attended The College of Southern Nevada for Marketing & Business courses. Upon completion of my degree, I worked in prominent hotels and country clubs in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

I met my wife in Los Angeles and moved back to Hawaii to start my business and start a family. My wife is Island born & it was always our intention to move back to the islands to start our lives & lay roots here.

I started Tailor Made Custom Catering in 2019 on the island of Oahu. Some of my most memorable past-times in the kitchen are catering for major sports teams and weddings/special events. I love catering weddings, each event is unique with complex menus and attention to detail & I get to be a part of others’ most memorable moments. I am passionate about sourcing high-quality food, scratch cooking, and supporting locals.

I believe in being of service & having the ability to do so through offering employment to our community or by giving someone a skill-set. My family motivates me to continually reach for better.
