Thanh An 88 Group's story

Phuong belongs to the Thai ethnic minority group from Thanh An commune in northwest Vietnam with a basic desire that her life family has good health.

To make a living, she works hard both in rice cultivation and raising some pigs, buffalo, cows and chickens. Her eldest child also works as a driver to support the family to earn more money.

She is taking a loan to buy five pigs and food for the pigs. She believes that she can do it well because she has 25 years of experience. Moreover, she finds it easy to raise pigs and rarely encounters diseases, and difficulties. She intends to use the interest to expand the scale-up of raising pigs. She is very grateful for this loan from Kiva lenders. In this photo, she stands on the first right.
