Ms. Maria Del Carmen is a 61 year old Dominican woman who is currently in a common law marriage. She is an enterprising and industrious woman who is the mother of three children and has a first grade education.
She has been in business for approximately 28 years. She used to make her living selling bread but this work did not generate the income necessary to support her family and it was a lot of work for her. That is why she now has a fried foods business. She runs the business in her home. She wants to use this loan to buy more supplies so she can have a greater variety of products, satisfy her customers needs and generate more income.
She is the coordinator of the group and this is her 25th loan with AEI.
Her goal is to have a her own home and a bigger business.
