A loan helped a black-owned business upgrade their food truck to serve more people.

Johnny's story

I am Johnny, owner and operator of Johnny T’s Fish & Wings where our mission is to give the community their money's worth while dining with our establishment. I’ve been cooking and catering meals for over twenty years. I participate in services such as serving and or catering for night clubs, family gatherings, food truck events, birthdays, graduation parties, and many more social functions.

My wife and I have been cooking and serving meals throughout the community for over 19 years. We have combined resources and put all our income into our food truck, where our vision is to keep our dream (food truck) running smoothly with all the equipment needed and in the future grow to own three brick and mortar within the next five years.

The community loves and respects us because we are well known for pitching in and always helping provide meals for the homeless and or for others who simply can’t afford the meals to feed their households on fixed budgets. We just want to be in a better position to do more for our family and for the community.

This loan is special because:

It will help this entrepreneur upgrade equipment and expand their business.
