Catarina's story

Catarina is a 25-year-old Mozambican woman living in Barue, Mozambique. She often travels to other communities to buy cereals and vegetable such as corn, beans, potatoes, onions and cabbage

Having already benefited from the iDE business and financial-literacy training, Catarina's way of doing business in the community has improved a lot. Now she has a good understanding of her market and clients needs.

Seeing the increase in demand for its products, Catarina intends to increase the quantities of cereals and vegetables, especially beans, which is the most-requested product in her shop. She needs the Kiva loan to increase the quantity of her products in order to better respond to the demand, and in this way, make her business grow.
