A loan helped me invest in digital strategies to further my reach, educate and create impact in my field.

Cristina's story

I grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico. My journey started with taking a summer class with artist Rebecca Castrillo from la Liga de Arte de San Juan. Afterward, I acquired my master's in Art Business from Sotheby's, NY. My master's helped me to merge my love of art and entrepreneurship.

The driving force of my business is for people to understand the importance of the art market, make wise investments, and make it an asset with a good return. Very few people know the value behind my call, and that's where my firm comes in. Now at days, and even more through the actual inflation situation, we need to sharpen our investment skills and have vast know-how in distributing money while making it grow. My motivation lies in opening my mind to see an array of investment opportunities. Many think that investing in the art market is for the elite and I come as the disruptor, while being proof that it is for everyone.

I want to expand my business reach through digital and tailor-made social media strategies and optimum branding. In my business, image is our foundation; even today, people are more visual than ever. Furthermore, potential clients such as investment banks expect art advisories to have a solid presence to work together.

Regarding future projects, the pipeline is creating a foundation of the arts that will make therapeutic outlets in parks, hospitals, and corporate institutions that will contribute to mental health. I firmly stand that it is something we entrepreneurs should take with utmost dedication and passion.

My dream is to create a difference in today's society, instilling the importance of creativity and innovation while motivating young women never to settle and aim for their desires.
