Zeburia is a 41-year-old mother of three children who are aged between 2 and 14 years old. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past six years, she has been selling foodstuffs.
Zeburia is the leader of the group called Tyazubwenge Tcb (which in English means “sharpen your knowledge”). Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.
Zeburia will use her loan to buy more beans and sorghum to sell in her community and to meet customer's demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to pay school fees for her children and also be able to expand her business to neighboring communities.
She is thankful for your support.
Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members, but was able to photograph Zeburia, the group representative.
