A loan helped to buy 70 sacks of walnuts and to save so that she can care for her children.

Pagomzanga Marceline's story

Pagomzanga Marceline is the mother of five children of which three attend school. For the past seven years, she has been a salesperson in the area of the city square where she buys grains and onions, stores them and resells them when the time is right. She knows this business activity well.

She repaid her sixth Kiva loan without any difficulty and is seeking a new loan with which she will buy 70 sacks of walnuts to add to her merchandise in storage. She will reinvest a portion of the profits into her activity and save the rest to care for her children.

Finally, she wishes to thank YIKRI and its partners for the support give to non-bankable business owners. She invites everyone to protect themselves from Covid-19.

Translated from French by Kiva volunteer Esther Schmit.
