A loan helped to buy corn wholesale to have reserves of raw materials to make tortillas.

Emma Yosibeth's story

Emma is single. She lives with her two children, aged 10 and 7. She states that she has no relatives living abroad.

Emma is the owner of a tortilla business. She runs the business with her cousin. They work from 9:00 am. to 3:00 pm. She learned the business with the help of her mother and was able to open her own business 10 years ago.

She has decided to ask for a loan because she needs working capital to boost her business. With the funds from the loan, she will buy corn wholesale to have reserves of raw materials to make tortillas. She hopes that with this investment her sales will increase and they will generate more income.

Her goals are to meet the basic needs of her household and to provide an education to her children.
