08-Darou Salam Group's story

This group was created in September 2013 by women of the village who share the same values of solidarity, cooperation, and giving of themselves. They work in retail. Coumba, alone in the photo due to COVID-19 measures, is the representative of the group. She is 54 years old, married, and the mother of five children. She also has three other children in her care. She sells peanut butter, vegetables, and other condiments. With her new loan, she counts on buying peanut seeds, which she turns into paste to resell with the vegetables and the condiments. Her profits will be used to buy cattle, and to take care of her personal needs and the family's needs.

In this group: Coumba , Dalanda , Mariama , Khady , Aminata
