A loan helped a member to buy agricultural inputs for her fields in order to harvest more.

Djigiya Group's story

Facouma is a farmer who resides mainly in Mali, 47 years old, married, and mother of three children, all of whom attend school. She was born and raised in agriculture. She remains in agriculture and wishes to benefit from new production techniques, the use of machines, and insecticides and many other chemicals, as this favours a large quantity of production.

In the photo, Facouma carries the pickaxe on her shoulder. In order to meet her needs, she applied for a loan from the RMCR to further strengthen her capacity to purchase inputs. At the end of the agricultural season, she harvests more peanuts and sesame, which allows her to maximize a better profit.
