Bayimba is a client of the Hekima microfinance institution and the head of the Apandacho village group. She is married, aged 31 years and the mother of 5 children, 4 of whom attend school. Her partner is a doctor.
She sells medication in a pharmacy and started this business 10 years ago with the startup funds received from her husband. Later she joined the Hekima program to support her business and during this time she evolved progressively. With this new loan, she will buy stocks of generic medication and specialties, to strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her activity is linked to the expiry dates of the medication.
She would like for her children to continue their studies and to develop her business. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to business owners who have no cash flow in the context of the global crisis linked to covid-19.
The photo is only of the group leader to respect the social distancing measures caused by covid-19.
