Mariama is 38 years old. She lives with her husband and their five children of whom four are in school. She carries out two businesses namely catering and selling fabric. Mariama is very organized in her operations. She wakes up very early in the morning to prepare the sauces which she sells as breakfast to students, laborers and merchants in her neighborhood. In the evening, she delivers fabric orders to her clientele. The two business activities make her more profits and enables her to pay her children's school fees and cover a part of her family's needs. She received a Kiva loan which she used well. She is asking for another loan to keep on with the progress which she found thanks to a Kiva loan.
