A loan helped to increase working capital to buy fertilizer, fungicides and to pay labor to maintain her crop.

Diana Carolina's story

Diana, age 31, lives with her parents in the city of Ibarra, province of Imbabura. The principal economic activities there are tourism, commerce, and agriculture.

Diana has worked as a farmer for five years, on land that she owns. She grows beans that she sells wholesale in various markets in the area. Due to the situation of the pandemic, she had many losses, but now again she is resuming her farm work.

Diana requests a loan to buy seeds, compost, fungicides, and to pay workers to maintain and plant the land. This will permit her to have a quality product and be able to sell it at a good price, to generate more income for her family.

Diana is very grateful for the support provided. She will be able to continue with her cultivation and to have more profits, to improve her and her family's quality of life.
