Wakilare Niandiaye Group's story

Mrs. Oumou is the president of the group "WAKILARE NIANDIAYE". In the Fulani language, "WAKILARE" means "Development". Mrs. OUMOU, 55 years old, works in livestock breeding, just like the other women in her group. She is married and has four children aged between 3 and 15 years old, all of whom go to school.

Her group is made up of fifteen women who have a business of breeding. Mrs. Oumou buys and sells her sheep at the weekly markets and manages to make an annual profit of 90,000 which allows her to provide for her children's schooling, nutrition, health needs, etc.
