A loan helped a member to get fresh supplies of rice, beans and oil, which will boost her initial capital.

Maranatha 2 Group's story

Henriette is a customer of Hekima IMF and president of the "Maranatha 2" village group. She is 50 years old, married and mother to five children, who are all at school. Her husband is a trader.

She sells a variety of products and began her business seven years ago with her own starting capital. Later on she joined the Hekima program to support her business, which has developed steadily over this period.

With this new loan she is going to stock up with rice, beans and oil, which will boost her initial capital. She does not encounter any problems in her business.

She would like her children to continue studying and to build up her business. Finally she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they provide to business owners who do not have access to bank funding in the context of the global Covid-19 crisis. The photo is of the group leader only, in order to respect Covid-19 social distancing measures.
