Zanabu's story

Zanabu is a refugee mother to 5 children who all are school going. She along with her family stay in Moyo in the West Nile region of Uganda.

She is a farmer who grows maize, beans, and millet. This is mainly for sale and a little for home consumption. She works extremely hard to make her family smile.

She would like to buy dry food for sell like posho, beans and rice. The demand for food is really high in the community were she lives.

Since the demand is there already and there is ready market for the products, she will be able to sell more, offer her family a better, and pay school fees.

Her dream is to open a shop that sells dry food and other products. Without the support of VisionFund and Kiva, she would not have achieved all this. She is very grateful for the support.
