Ruth Tatiana is a 43-year-old micro entrepreneur from the city of Cartagena where she lives with her spouse. She has had a business there for four years, selling personal hygiene items, colognes, deodorants, paper goods and clothing. Separately, she is well known for her great job as a manicurist, and her style of doing nails.
Her business idea arose because she found herself unemployed, and in her neighborhood there wasn't a similar business. Accordingly, with her own resources she started the businesses mentioned above. They are her source of income, and allow her to contribute to supporting her household. She runs her businesses from her house. Ruth's goal is to have capital to expand and increase her level of supplies.
Due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic Ruth's level of work diminished because of biosecurity issues, and her income declined drastically. For that reason she seeks her first Kiva loan through the Fundación Santo Domingo, to invest in the purchase of glass cases, paper goods, personal hygiene products, notebooks, and a table for manicures. Support her with this business loan.
