A loan helped women-owned minority business owner expand from her garage and hire from undeserved communities.

Kisha's story

We all have a story. Covid-19 has changed so many lives. I just try to keep a positive attitude and continue to press forward. Going back 3 years before covid got bad, I took my 7 years out of public schools to home school him. I took a leap of faith leaving the corporate world to take care of my child first. Not knowing what I was going to do, I was reminded of how my mom provided for my siblings and me. She would cook and clean for others. I took my savings, bought equipment/supplies, and started Randolph Krazy Kleaning Services LLC. The 1st year was none existent and I took a loss due to covid. Everything was shut down, no one was traveling. I used this time to market myself and put my name out there. I didn't see it then but people being in the house for almost a year opened up opportunities for this business. Each of the last 2 years has been positive. This year I have also taken on property management along with cleaning. With the world's back open, I am taking on new opportunities and trying to expand. This loan would allow me to lease a building, buy new equipment and hire staff to help. My biggest accomplishment though is being able to help people, especially in underserved communities. Thank you for the opportunity!!

This loan is special because:

It supports a starting entrepreneur to create their dream business.
