A loan helped a woman-owned business meet the health and wellness needs of the community.

Adelei's story

My name is Addie. I am a stay-at-home momma of 4 (two sets of twins). I have been in the wellness industry for 15+ years. When I moved to Platteville 6 years ago, as a stay-at-home mom, I was looking for friends and a community feel. I wanted to get out of the house but had nowhere to go with 4 littles. I missed the bigger city gyms where we could work out and our kids could come and be taken care of or watch us. I felt so isolated and lonely for many years.

I knew that if something like this was going to come to Platteville, I was going to be the one to do it.

I have created a space where all are welcome and mommas (or poppas) can bring the kiddos too! I have created jobs for moms just like me to join in as well. This is a healthy community for us to grow and find others who are on their journey to just being their best selves. My motto is "we make fitness fun!" If your looking for a place to get skinny this is not it...we work on LOVING OURSELVES FROM THE INSIDE OUT!!

I love this job and I love the friendships I have formed I hope to grow and expand but need a little help.

This loan is special because:

It supports a female entrepreneur in expanding their business.
