Dalia is 29 years old and lives with her two children in El Divisadero, the department of Morazán. She has been selling “pupusas” (stuffed tortillas) for a long time and this is her family’s only income. Because of her location on the highway, many people on their way to San Miguel stop at her “pupuseria” (tortilla shop) to buy her products.
Dalia is building her own home but it doesn’t have a roof yet. She is requesting a loan since she doesn’t have the finances to put a roof on her home. This loan will help her complete the construction and allow her and her little ones to have a decent, safe, and proper home in which to live. Her dream is to complete the house and continue working in order to help her children get ahead.
