A loan helped a member to buy agricultural inputs.

Vamos Con Todo Las Piedras Group's story

Juan is a 49-year-old gentleman who has engaged in agriculture (he grows corn, beans and chia) for 35 years. He is the coordinator of a solidarity group made up of 3 members who engage in the same economic activity.

He started doing farming work from an early age, harvesting with his parents. Later, when he became independent, he decided to rent lands to cultivate and start working on his own. Currently, he grows crops on his own land.

He requests a loan at Fundenuse with Kiva funds. He is very happy; since with the previous loan, he did very well with his harvest because he improved the yield with the help of all the inputs that he bought with the loan that Kiva financed.

He has a goal to improve his house and to buy more land so as to diversify his agriculture by planting coffee.
