Batourou's story

Batourou is mother to three children who still go to school. She is a trader of various products in a market in the outskirts of the capital, and has been managing this business for the past 15 years.

She is on her seventh loan cycle with Yikri and and has repaid her first Kiva loan. She has requested a loan to buy a container of liquid soap paste, 20 buckets of HandSan (hand sanitizer) and 100 packs of henna to satisfy customer demand. With her profits she is intending to reinvest in her business and save money to take care of her children.
