Agnes's story

Agnes is a passionate entrepreneur living near one of the five refugee camps in Rwanda. She is married with five children.

She runs a tailoring shop near the Kigeme refugee camp. Her business helped to support her family and change people's lives through the job creation of 1 refugee and 2 host communities.

After participating in the AEC/Inkomoko programs she upgraded her marketing skills, bookkeeping and excellent customer service, which attracted many loyal customers who always buy from her shop.

Agnes is requesting a loan to purchase inventory and introduce new fabrics in the shop. She believes there will be a growth and expansion of her business.

Her spouse is operating the same business in Kigali, which makes money and continues to support her family.
