A loan helped to buy fish, vegetables, soft drinks, etc.

Deisy Annabel's story

Deisy Annabel and her family live in Portoviejo, a city affected by the earthquake on April 16, 2016, and now by the Covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich is the production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruits for internal consumption.

Deisy Annabel is a merchant. She travels around various parts of the city selling clothing, vegetables, fish by the pound, and soft drinks. She also makes sales to customers who come to her house to buy from her. She lets them buy on credit and collects weekly.

Everyone in her family became ill with Covid-19 and are now getting better, little by little. At first, she was not working, with social distancing and various restrictions which kept her from going out to make sales, but now she is following the heath safety protocols.

This loan is to buy fish, vegetables, soft drinks, etc. Her dream is to increase sales and for her family to be in good health.
