Garmai's story

Garmai was born in 1974 and is a mother of four children who are in school. She will do anything to make her family happy and see that her children graduate from school. Garmai has endured challenges in her life in order to achieve success for her family. She has invested many hours of hard work and dedication into her business of selling drinks, palm oil, rice, and other products.

In order to remain stocked with quality goods, Garmai has applied for a Kiva loan from BRAC Liberia. The income she earns from her sales will be used to meet the basic needs of her household. Garmai has 13 years of experience and has not faced any problems with running her business.

Her dreams are to continue supporting her children’s education and to build a house. She expresses her thanks and appreciation to BRAC and the Kiva community for their support.
