A loan helped to buy soil amendments, fertilizer, compost, and other inputs.

Maryuri Mishell's story

This is Mishell, a smiling, extroverted, and playful young woman who's the youngest in her family and who's always looking to lighten her parents' load.

When she finished high school, she went out with her father to work as a day laborer on the nearby crops. Then, after a year she started her own crops, growing tamarillo trees. After almost seven months, Mishell is earning the fruit of her labor because her trees are full of ripe fruit.

That's why she needs to request some help to buy soil amendments, fertilizer, compost, and other inputs that will enable her to continue to ripen her healthy product and sell it at a good price.
