A loan helped a member to stock up with beans and corn which will boot her initial capital.

Pilier Group's story

Rachel is a customer of Hekima IMF and presides over the village group "Pilier". She is married, 48 years old and mother of six children including four in school. Her partner is a civil servant.

She sells food and began this business 18 years ago with start-up funds from her husband. With this new loan, she will stock up with beans and corn which will boost her initial capital. The threat to her business is a lack of customers.

She would like her children to continue studying and to be able to feed her family. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support given to owners of non-bankable businesses in this context of the global crisis linked to Covid-19. The photo is only of the leader of the group due to Covid-19 and social distancing measures.
