Fati is the mother of five children of whom four are in school. She is a merchant in a suburb of the capital where she runs a store selling plasticware (buckets, cups, baskets, platters, plates, spoons, knives) and clothing. She has been in this business for over seven years.
She is on her 7th loan cycle at YIKRI, and she has paid back her 2nd Kiva loan without a problem. She is requesting a new loan to purchase quality plasticware and place mats to satisfy customer demands.
With her earnings, she plans to reinvest in her commerce and to save money for dealing with family expenses. So she says thank you to YIKRI and its partners for supporting unbanked entrepreneurs. Thanks to YIKRI loans, she is succeeding at taking care of her family.
