A loan helped a member to buy peanut seeds and fertilizer.

05-Bougou Ligueye Group's story

This group of women has existed since July 2020. They live in the same community and maintain very strong family relationships and bonds of solidarity. Their main job activity is in agriculture.

Due to COVID-19, Sire, who is the group representative, was chosen to appear in the photograph. She is 48 years old, married, and has 7 children, 6 of whom are girls. She's a farmer.

With this loan, she plans to buy peanut seeds and bags of fertilizer for her crops. After the harvest, she will sell her products in the local market at a good price hoping to earn a better income. With the earnings, she wishes to increase her savings and help her husband to meet household needs (food, healthcare, children's education).

In this group: Ramatoulaye, Sire, Bouthie, Fatou, Khady, Yama, Gnagna, Awa, Fanta, Assanatou, Awa, Penda, Sadio, Absa, Binta
