A loan helped to buy pandanus for her weaving and also helps with their house's renovation.

Lositika's story

Lositika is a weaver who weaves ta'ovala, mats, and fihu, then sells it out to earn income for her and her family.

She is a separated mother to her nine children, and it is a lot to take care of on her own. Her husband left to the States and she hasn't heard from him for ten years now. She takes the pain, perseveres, and keeps her business running in order to provide for her children.

Now that some of her children have finished their education and found a career, she still manages to run her business and fulfill her responsibilities to the rest of her children.

She applies for this amount to buy pandanus and also get help with the renovating of their house. They live in a two-bedroom house only with her and the girls in one room and the boys in the other. This renovation is targeted for a five-bedroom house.
