Monte Sion El Zungano Group's story

Josué is 26 years old. He is a young farmer, married and the father of two children. He grows beans and corn and has a manzana (a local land measure) of coffee. He started in this field with the help of his father at the age of 15. And with time he has acquired knowledge and skills needed to do this work independently.

He is requesting a loan from Fundenuse with funds from Kiva to buy agricultural inputs to maintain his crops. His goal is to continue with this business and provide the maintenance needed for his crops in order to obtain a good yield and improve his income.

He is part of the “Monte Sion El Zungano” communal bank along with Juana and Elin who earn a living in the same business.
