A loan helped to buy a milk-shaking machine and animal fodder for her dairy-production business.

Manal's story

Manal is a 40-year-old Jordanian woman who is a mother of five kids. Her husband is retired from the military and works on a bus for delivery. She has a dairy-production business which is considered the second source of income for the family.

Manal's business has already helped her in covering many important expenses like her son's education fees. It's so important to her and she aims to expand it and make it a bigger success. The products she makes from the sheep she owns are yoghurt, ghee and butter.

To make the process easier, Manal wants to own a new shaking machine. She also needs more fodder for her sheep to keep them alive and healthy. This can only be achieved through a loan of 1,500 JOD that will be a huge support for her.

This loan is special because:

It empowers the most vulnerable and marginalized women in Jordan.
