Fatai's story

Fatai's husband help her in making and marketing crafts to earn income for their family. They have eight children, and are working very hard to provide for them. They both work hard and late because of their many children to be able to provide food for the table.

They carve necklaces, bracelets, earrings and many other souvenirs from turtle shells, pearls and many other materials of nature. They are now able to export some of their goods overseas, but they mainly sell it out at the local market to localities. She applies for a loan to buy enough turtle shells for their business.
