A loan helped an Immigrant Women-owned business to help upgrade & grow our business.

Pascale's story

My name is Pascale. I am 28 years old and a first generation Haitian American. My parents brought me from Port Au Prince, Haiti to West Palm Beach, Florida at the age of 14, for a better life and education.
From a very young age, I have always had a passion to help women feel confident and look beautiful. As a teenager, I discovered I had this incredible gift of styling hair, which lead to me making handmade custom wigs. I later enrolled into cosmetology school to further my education in hopes of opening a hair salon. After obtaining my cosmetology certificate and state license, I quickly learned that it takes a lot more than just obtaining a license to open a business. It takes a village and that is where you come in! Being the first generation entrepreneur in my family made it even harder because I had no guidance, I have invested thousands of my own savings and countless hours into this business, to make this dream come true. I can only get so far on my own and I now I am asking for your help to make this longtime dream come true.

This loan would help me buy equipment, inventory to keep up with the demand, and also hire the right marketing team to bring more awareness, and more customers. The end goal is to eventually save up and open a storefront. Having a storefront will allow me to do what I love the most, to give back. It will allow me to open a mentorship program where I mentor young girls, host beauty classes, and pave the way for young women to get their feet in the beauty industry.

This loan is special because:

It supports a female immigrant entrepreneur in expanding their business.
