This wonderful lady is Zamirahan. She's 58 years old, married with grown children. She has a high school education, and has a kind and caring heart. Her family's main source of income has been raising cattle and growing crops since 1990. Thanks to her hard work, today the farm has 4 cows, 100(!) sheep, and 2.22 hectares where she grows organic beans.
Zamirahan has an agreement with a local factory to sell her organic milk to them for further dairy processing. This enables her to continuously reinvest in her farm.
When Zamirahan learned that she can get a loan from Bai Tushum Bank backed by her future contract with the factory, she asked for a loan of 200,000 KGS. This helps her buy more dairy cows and increase her sales volume of organic milk.
The payment from the factory will come directly to her bank account, with her loan repayments automatically deducted to Kiva. Earnings from this loan will help Zamirahan further improve her farm.
